Hi, i'm Sammy!

I'm an American, children's book author and illustrator based right outside Chicago. After a decade of experience in the creative industry, I authored and illustrated my first children's book, "Animal Alliterations: An Alphabet Adventure."

 

My passion for drawing and creativity began in childhood, where I could often be found sketching animals and dreaming up whimsical worlds. Drawing was always my go-to activity.

Before starting my illustration career, I earned a BFA at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Along the way, I worked in marketing, animation, graphic design, product design, web design, and pattern design.

Nowadays, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, exploring creative hobbies, drawing, gardening, and sharing laughter with my family, friends, and church community.
